This Dream is Not Recommended for Parents

When Olivia woke up yesterday morning, she said, "I had a bad dream."

I said, "Oh, tell me about it."

She responded, "It's too violent."

As Easy as a Push of a Button

Olivia was a little grumpy around bed time the other night. I asked her, "Did you forget to nap today?"
She responded, "No, I just forgot to push my nice button."

Olivia's Idea of Cleaning Her Room

After supper, Josh asked the kids to go clean their rooms. Olivia was back five minutes later stating that she was done. Josh went to Olivia's room to check her work and confirmed that it was clean.
Later that night when I went to tuck Olivia into bed, I noticed a big pile of toys shoved into the corner of her room. I said, "Olivia, when you clean your room, you are supposed to put things back where they belong. Don't just throw everything in the corner."
She responded, "I didn't. I also put some things under my bed. I really tricked Dad!"
